Simple Autumn Wreath Tutorial

Simple

I love this time of year. The beautiful colors of the leaves. The crispness in the air. I love putting up fall decorations Mums, pumpkins and a scarecrow or two. And of course adding a new wreath to my front door.

This wreath is simple and easy to make. Here’s what you will need:

  • 6 gorgeous flowers of your choice
  • floral wire
  • scissors
  • ribbon for bow(if you want to add one)
  • grapevine wreath

I bought these flowers at Hobby Lobby. I choose my favorite autumn colors. The stems were long on the flowers, so I trimmed them down enough to wrap around the wreath. Some of my flowers were not facing the direction I wanted them to so I used floral wire to attach them at the right angle. See figure A and B.(Sorry my pics aren’t the best.) The wire was not necessary with most of my flowers. They seem to stay in place fine without using the wire.

TADA!

That’s all I did with this wreath originally. I made this wreath a few years ago and didn’t add a bow to it. But last fall I added the pretty copper wire edged ribbon to jazz it up a bit.
See so simple to make and a great quick project to try for Fall.

Hope you have a cozy comfy Fall!!
